What's included in the letter?

Each child receives a beautifully printed, personally addressed letter from Santa Claus. They also receive a Nice List Certificate with their name on it AND a Nice List sticker to display proudly. It all arrives in a festive envelope addressed directly to them.

What do I need to do to receive a letter?

Fill out the information on the “Sign Up Free” page. The most important information is your child’s first and last name and the home address you’d like to receive the letter at.

Question 3

What is a Santa Secret Keeper card?

A Santa Secret Keeper card is a an additional card that can be included with the letter for older children who are no longer believing but have younger siblings that do. It encourages them to help keep the secret of Santa.

You can request one in the Additional Comments box on the sign-up form.

Question 4

Is it really free?

YES. It is really free. There is no charge, no subscription, and no hidden fees. It's on us.

We are a small team of volunteers who do this out of love for the season. This is our way of giving back and adding a little kindness to the world. If you think your child would like a Santa letter then sign them up and it would be our pleasure to make some Christmas magic come true.

Question 5

Is there a cut off date for signing up?

Yes — to guarantee delivery before Christmas, we ask that you sign up this year by December 18, 2026 which is one week before Christmas. Sign up will be closed as of December 19, 2026.

Letters are sent in the order that requests are received. We always recommend signing up as early as possible to avoid disappointment.

Question 6

When will the letter arrive?

Letters begin going out the last weekend of November. We aim to send all letters in the weeks leading up to Christmas so they arrive in plenty of time for the big day. We recommend signing up as early as possible to guarantee delivery before Christmas Eve.

Question 7

Where do you deliver?

Accepted Answer

We currently deliver to addresses within the United States. Please make sure you enter your full mailing address — including street, city, state, and ZIP code — on the sign-up form so Santa's elves can get it right.

Question 8

How will I know the letter has been sent?

Once your request has been processed and the letter is on its way, you'll receive a confirmation email at the email address you provided during sign-up. Keep an eye on your inbox — and your mailbox!

Question 9

Who can sign up?

Accepted Answer

Any parent or guardian can sign up on behalf of their child or children. You can request letters for up to four children in a single sign-up. There is no age restriction, though the letters are designed to delight children who still believe in the magic of Santa Claus.

What is I have more than one child?

Accepted Answer

Everyone gets their own letter! Please add all the children’s names and we will send them each a letter.

Question 11

Can I sign up for a child who isn't mine?

Accepted Answer

Absolutely. Grandparents, aunts, uncles, godparents, and family friends are all welcome to sign up on a child's behalf. Just make sure you have the child's correct full name and a valid mailing address to send the letter to.

What if my child has a sibling that's too YOUNG to believe in Santa...but if they don't receive one then my older child will get suspicious?

Man these kids are so smart! Add their name anyway and sibling will get a letter too to keep the magic alive!

What if my child has a sibling that is too OLD to believe in Santa but if they don’t get a letter too my younger, believer child will get suspicious?

We have a solution! We have decided to start the Santa Secret Keeper Club (SSK Club) to make it seem extra cool. Once you’re too old to be a Santa Believer you turn into a Santa Secret Keeper.

Just add a note telling us which child needs this and  we’ll send them a matching letter as well to keep up pretenses. BUT their letter will also have an additional notecard  inducting them as an official Santa Secret Keeper and reminding them of their new very important job of keeping Santa a secret, especially for their brother or sister.

Do you send Naughty List letters?

Nope! We are the Nice List! We are in the business of making smiles and spreading happiness only.

Question 15

How do you handle children's information?

Accepted Answer

We take children's privacy extremely seriously. The only information we collect is what's needed to send the letter: the child's name and a mailing address. We do not collect dates of birth, school names, or any other sensitive details.

Will you share or sell our information?

Accepted Answer

Never. Your information — and your child's information — will never be sold, rented, or shared with any third party for marketing purposes. It is used solely to fulfill your letter request and send you a confirmation email.

Question 17

How long do you keep our data?

Accepted Answer

We retain your information only for as long as is necessary to process and send the letter, plus a short period afterwards in case of any delivery queries. After that, it is securely deleted. You can request deletion at any time by contacting us.
